Wysong brand cat food is manufactured and marketed by the Wysong Corporation. The Wysong Corporation was first founded in 1979. In addition to manufacturing cat food, Wysong produces food for dogs, ferrets and horses. Wysong also markets products for people, such as Health Food, Personal Care Products, and several different nutritional Supplements. The main operational facility of the Wysong Corporation is currently in Midland, MI. Though many pet food companies had products recalled in the 2007 pet food recall, Wysong does not currently have any pet products on the FDA recall list.

Wysong offers many different dry cat food formulas, as well as several different canned food formula variations. Wysong's Anergen formula is offered in a 4lb and 8lb bag size, while all of Wysong's other dry cat food formulas are only available in 4lb bags. This excludes Wysong Nurture (with free range pheasant) formula, which is only available in 2.5lb bags. 1. Wysong Nurture dry cat food formula is available in an original formula, as well as a formula that includes free-range pheasant as a protein source. Wysong Nurture original formula includes corn, while the formula with pheasant does not. 2. Wysong Vitality dry cat food formula includes several amino acids and micronutrients for specialized nutritional needs. The Guaranteed Analysis of this formula includes 34% protein and 15.5% fat.
3. Wysong Uretic dry cat food formula is designed to support the proper function of a cat's urinary tract. The Guaranteed Analysis of this formula includes 32% protein and 15.5% fat.
