Diamond Pet Foods was very publicly involved in the 2005 pet food recalls, when aflotoxin was discovered in the manufacturing facility in Gaston, South Carolina. This recall involved all products that contained corn, and that were manufactured at that specific facility. After testing, only two dog food formulas were discovered to be potentially toxic, and were removed from stores.
