This facility is also responsible for manufacturing the "Alley Cat" brand of cat food products. Meow Mix was originally owned by the Purina company, though was divested in the 2000s for antitrust reasons. Now Meow Mix is owned by Del Monte Foods, which was first founded in 1899. As of current news, there are no Meow Mix brand cat food products on the FDA's pet food recall list.
