Our young cat had been a stray of about 7 months of age when we found her. By about 1 year she was already starting to put on too much weight even though her food was regulated, so the vet recommended this food.
She has now been eating it for almost a year; she likes it very much and is in fine health, so we continue to feed it to her. I realize it's not the best in terms of ingredients, i.e. rice is the 2nd ingredient listed and corn gluten meal is the 3rd. However she's in fine condition, and her weight seems to be more or less stable, so for now, we'll keep on with it.
