We switched them to the Nutro Max Cat salmon formula from Purina Pro Plan about 6 months ago and what a difference. There is much less shedding and their coats are as soft and shiny as ever. They all have plenty of energy and have had no health problems whatsoever. We even noticed that the litter box isn't quite as "full" when we clean it out every night since switching to Nutro Max Cat. Also, our Maine Coon hasn't had any problems with hairballs since starting the Nutro, which she used to have quite frequently since she has such long and thick fur. We are very pleased with the overall results of this food, and our cats seem to really like it. I highly recommend it. We have 4 indoor cats, ages 7 years, 5 years, 3 years, and 1 year. It is the one food that I've never had a cat not like. Every cat I have brought home from a shelter has switched over to it, and has gotten a much better, lovely coat. Even my himalayans do great on the food. It is a great bargain for the quality you get. I even had my fiance' switch his cats to it, and they are doing very well. He's noticed how much their coats have improved. Recently I have been mixing the Nutro Natural Choice with the Nutro Max for some extra nutrition, and they all do love it. 7 cats right now. Through the decades I have had 15 cats on it, all living healthy long lives. I have fed all of my cats Nutro Max over the years, and they all have loved it.
