My 9 year old, Rili, is on LID Green Pea and Duck. He has severe allergies to several food products (including the hypoallergenic foods!) including vomiting every time he eats and itching, as well as regular hairballs due to his extremely long fur. We have tried Royal Canin, Hills, Blue, Wellness, and Purina products with little and varied success. With the LID GP&D, we have had no vomit episodes and no itching, and no hairballs. I have done extensive research into my cat's food (even to making a raw diet!) and the only food routine I've had this much success with is in feeding a raw diet. Unfortunately, the raw diet is inconvenient for when I go out of town. There is not as high of a protein content as I would like in the LID series, but my cat is awed over when he goes in to the vet for check ups. The few vets we've seen have been astounded with how healthy he is, and best of all, he's happy. I highly recommend this product!

I have 5 persians, one of them has severe food allergies to grains (severe scratching, itching, runny nose and runny ears). I have had all my cats on Limited Ingredient Chicken and Pea dry for the past couple of years. My cat with allergies has completely cleared up and has never looked better. I also feed them canned food (Wellness and Natural Balance Limited Ing. Chicken and Pea) since they both have limited ingredients. The only thing I'm not really sure about is the fact that peas are the first ingredient in the NB brand. My research tells that the majority of a cat's diet should be animal protein. Peas don't meet that criteria.

Both Charlie and Riley my male 2 year old cats eat Limited Ingredient Green Pea & Duck dry, plus 3oz cans of chicken, duck and venison. Any future plans for making the cans into a stew form rather than pate?

Great product!
