I have been feeding my cats dry Innova dating back to when I had my very first cat back in 1990. It is quality food and does not contain cornmeal or by-products. It is considered the primo cat food and my cat is worth that. My present cat who is a purebred persian seems to really enjoy it! My vet also told me this is probably the best cat food on the market. Its worth every penny.

Ok, now after reading all these cat food reviews I'm really confused and concerned! I have 2 kitties, one is about two months old the other about four months old, from a rescue shelter. They eere eating some dry purina kitten chow, but then I started giving them Evo dry food, which they loved (mixed together). Unfortunately it's now really hard for me to find Evo cat food, so I decided to try by Nature Organic dry cat food. Tonight I started to add some of the by Nature into their old purina. They didn't seem to really like the combination but ate most of it. Then I started really reading the label, and it says "do not feed to kittens or pregnant or lactating cats"! Great!

So, now that I've opened it and used some I can't return it, right? These are my first kittens/cats in my whole life! I'm still going to look for Evo cat food. I dont care if its more expensive; I just want them to be healthy. By Nature is organic, but Evo seems super great.

I just don't know what to do. Thanks for listening!

p.s. They also get some wet food or a little baby food at night. They're actually alot softer, their poop is better, and they seem healthier since I got them about 3 1/2 weeks ago.

I switched my furbabies to Innova about two years ago after I realized how bad Iams was. Up until a few weeks ago it had curbed the severe skin allergies of one of my cats. The other two are thriving on it though. They love it and are much healthier overall than on the other cat food. I do supplement with wet food though (mixed with a tsp of pumpkin puree as per our vet's suggestion), which seems to help any constipation problems.

I am very pleased with Innova - we use the low fat formula to feed our cat with urinary problems instead of the lower quality foods designed for that purpose with great results. All the kitties like it and are very healthy.
