I fed this exclusively to my three cats for many years. Lab work showed my 16 year-old Maine Coon mix had the kidney function of a 2 year-old cat. My vet said he’d never seen a cat that old with such healthy kidneys and liver. That cat passed away from bone cancer, and I switched to a premium grain-free kibble because I thought it would be better. Then my next eldest cat at age 17 started vomiting and loosing weight. Stage 4 kidney failure. I stopped feeding kibble and switched everybody to low-phosphorus canned food. After a year of this, my kidney cat is healthy again. Sometimes she demands kibble. This is the only one I’ll feed them. It’s the only one that she and my triaditis cat can keep down, and they love it.
